Monitor Insights Report

Overview

The Monitor Insights report can be accessed under “Registration Tracking” in the Schedule Refinement folder in the Reports app. It can supplement the Monitor App by showing the progression of student enrollment, course seats, and enrollment ratios during the registration cycle.
This report includes those values broken out by the time of day and modality. Utilizing the filters in the filter pane, those enrollment numbers can be grouped by the entire term, a pathway, a course group, and all the way down to an individual course.

Filters

Filters default to ‘Include all’ of that category unless otherwise noted.

Enrollment and Seats Progression with Waitlist Widget

The Enrollment and Seats Progression with Waitlist Widget is a chart that displays enrollment progression (enrollment by days until start of term), seats progression (total seats offered by days until start of term), and total waitlist for selected courses.

Enrollment Ratio Progression Widget

The Enrollment Ratio Progression Widget is a chart that displays enrollment ratio progression (enrollment divided by seats until start of term) for selected courses. A reference line is drawn at 85%, as that is the target enrollment ratio for a balanced course.

Enrollment Progression by Time of Day Widget

The Enrollment Progression by Time of Day Widget is a chart that displays enrollment progression (enrollment by days until start of term) for selected courses. The enrollment is broken out by the time of day that the sections in those courses are offered.

Seats Progression by Time of Day Widget

The Seats Progression by Time of Day Widget is a chart that displays seats offered progression (seats offered by days until start of term) for selected courses. The seats offered are broken out by the time of day that the sections in those courses are offered.

Enrollment Ratio Progression by Time of Day Widget

The Enrollment Ratio Progression by Time of Day Widget is a chart that displays the enrollment ratio progression (enrollment divided by seats offered by days until start of term) for selected courses. The enrollment ratio is broken out by the time of day that the sections in those courses are offered.

Enrollment Progression by Modality Widget

The Enrollment Progression by Modality Widget is a chart that displays enrollment progression (enrollment by days until start of term) for selected courses. The enrollment is broken out by the modality of the sections in those courses.

Seats Progression by Modality Widget

The Seats Progression by Modality Widget is a chart that displays seats offered progression (seats offered by days until start of term) for selected courses. The seats offered are broken out by the modality of the sections in those courses.

Enrollment Ratio Progression by Modality Widget

The Enrollment Ratio Progression by Modality Widget is a chart that displays the enrollment ratio progression (enrollment divided by seats offered by days until start of term) for selected courses. The enrollment ratio is broken out by the modality of the sections in those courses.

Courses Included Table

The Courses Included table is a simple validation table that displays the list of courses included in the line graphs above. With the ability to slice and filter the courses by a number of attributes (part of term, pathway, requirement tag, course group, etc.) this list will help in identifying which courses are currently selected.
