Financial Analysis Report

The Financial Analysis report provides insight into the tuition revenue, instructional cost, and margin of your pathways for any given term(s). This perspective can help you understand the financial sustainability of your pathways.

How is Financial Health Calculated?

Specific calculations for tuition revenue and instructional cost can be customized for your institution. By default, tuition revenue is calculated at $300 per credit hour, and the instructional cost is calculated at $1000 per credit hour. These can be customized by utilizing an importable spreadsheet to map the specific tuition per credit hour for your institution as well as instructor costs based on instructor types, or individual instructors.

Tuition revenue and instructional cost are allotted to specific pathways based on the enrolled students’ assigned pathways. For example, if ENGL 101 is being offered and the enrollment is comprised of 20 students in the English program, and 20 students in the History program, the tuition revenue for that course will be split between the English and History pathways (and the instructional cost will be split in the same manner).

The Financial Analysis Validation report is a supplemental report to the Financial Health report with additional data validation pivot tables.
