Enrollment Ratio by Term Details Drill-in

Overview

You can access the Enrollment Ratio by Term drill-in through the Course Offering Index report. On the "Enrollment Ratio by Year" widget, right-click on an individual year and "jump to Enrollment Ratio by Term".

The drill-in shows enrollment ratios by term rather than a calendar year perspective. When the drill-in is opened, the filters selected from the Course Offerings Index are retained. Click anywhere outside the drill-in to return to the Course Offering Index report.

Filters

The filters match Course Offerings Index and manipulating these filters in the drill-in will NOT affect the filtering on the main Course Offering Index page.

Color Coding

The colors on all widgets indicate fill rates that are consistent throughout the reports and drill-ins.

Enrollment Ratio by Term Widget

The Enrollment Ratio by Term widget shows a bar chart of enrollment ratio by part of term. The term chosen to drill into will be the default year of what displays. Ex. if you chose to drill in on the year 2020, all the terms occurring in 2020 will be displayed by default.

Widget Interaction

• Click on any bar to filter to a specific term. All other widgets will also filter to the selected term and the filter panel on the left will automatically change as well.
• Return back to a full view
  • Select the ‘clear selection’ icon on the heading of the widget. Doing this will change the filter to all years and ‘forget’ the year chosen when opening the report.
  • Manually manipulate the Term filter on the filter pane to the left.

Enrollment Ratio by Part of Term Widget

The Enrollment Ratio by Part of Term widget shows a bar chart of enrollment ratio by part of term. The term chosen to drill into will be the default year of what displays. Ex. if you chose to drill in on the year 2020, all the part of terms occurring in 2020 will be displayed by default.

Widget Interaction

  • Click on any bar to filter to a specific part of term. All other widgets will also filter to the selected part of term and the filter panel on the left will automatically change as well.
  • Return back to a full view
    • Select the ‘clear selection’ icon on the heading of the widget.
    • Manually manipulate the Term filter on the filter pane to the left.
• Slider Bar
  • The bar below the bar graph is a good way to zone in on a group that has a lot of items in a category.
  • Click and drag the window to move the whole window while retaining its size.
  • Drag the right and left bars on either side of the grey window to zoom in.

Enrollment Ratio Widget

The Enrollment Ratio widget is a copy of the Enrollment Ratio by Year seen in the Course Offering Index. This is included to easily change years within the other widgets in the report.
