What is the difference between an Approver Group and Notification Group?
An Approver Group can approve event, room and/or resources requests. All requests are sent to the appropriate Approver Group, and a request entry shows up on the Approver’s Notification List. Please note that you may have more than one user in an Approver Group but only one of them needs to approve the request.
A Notification Group is for users who need to be kept in the loop and notified when a specific event request is created and approved, or a specific room/resource is scheduled. Notification Group is more of an FYI group.
The user must be part of Approver Group to receive notification to approve rooms. Being part of a Security Group and being the Event Request Form contact is not enough. Check within Settings > Approval and Notification Groups.
