The Subject Enrollment and Fill Ratio report highlights the enrollment to max enrollment ratio and enrollment/max enrollment to room capacity ratio for sections by subject area. A user defined parameter allows a user to base the room fill calculation on either max enrollment or actual enrollment of a section. This report can be used to help enforce an academic scheduling policy outlining usage guidelines for minimum room seat fill requirements and enrollment ratios.
User-Defined Parameters
| Select Term | Allows a user to filter data by an academic term. |
| Enter Campus | Allows a user to filter data to a specific campus. |
| Base Seat Fill Ratio | Allows a user to pick which value will be used in the seat fill calculation (ratio of enrollment to the number of seats in the scheduled room). This calculation can either be based on actual enrollment, or max enrollment of each section. |
| Show Course Details | Allows a user to show or suppress specific course information for each subject. |
| Show Section Details | Allows a user to show or suppress individual class section information for each subject. |
Report Fields
| Subject/Course/Section | Based on the level of detail shown, will list the subject, course, and section codes. |
| Average Enrollment/Average Max Enrollment | The weighted average of the actual enrollment and max enrollment of all sections in the subject or course during the specified term. |
| Average Enrollment to Max Enrollment Ratio | The ratio of the average enrollment to average max enrollment of all sections in the subject or course during the specified term. |
| Building and Room | Lists the Building and Room scheduled for each section (only visible if showing section details). |
| Average Room Capacity | The average number of seats in the rooms scheduled for sections of the subject or course. |
| Fill Ratio | The ratio of average enrollment or max enrollment to the average room capacity. This is based on either actual or max enrollment, depending on the specified report parameter ((Max) Enrollment/Room Capacity). |
